Partner Matthew J. Zullo graduated from Denison University in 1983 and from St. John’s University School of Law in 1986. He is admitted to the New York State Bar and the Connecticut State Bar. Matthew belongs to the Suffolk County and New York State Bar Associations, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He has been involved in personal injury litigation for over 20 years, having worked as a paralegal in a personal injury defense firm while attending law school. Upon his admission to the New York State Bar in 1987 he honed his trial advocacy skills working for “the other side”, doing personal injury defense work. He joined RGG&L in 1997.
“I was honored when they (RGG&L) asked me to join the firm in 1997. As a defense attorney, when I had a file where the plaintiff was represented by RGG&L, I knew we were going to pay money and so did the insurance adjuster. RGG&L has always represented the best interest of their clients and has been regarded as one of the premier personal injury firms on Long Island and in the metropolitan area. I was happy to become a part of that tradition. Representing individuals who have been injured, developing a personal relationship with the client, and helping them through a difficult time has been the most rewarding aspect of my practice.”
Matthew and his wife Andrea live in East Setauket with their twin daughters Emilie and Natalie. The family enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities including skiing, biking, running, hiking, fishing, and swimming.
